What is your job at Vanderbilt?
Secretary, Office of the University Chaplain and Affiliated Ministries.
How long have you worked at Vanderbilt?
A little over two years.
Describe what you do in a typical day.
I try very hard to do all that has been requested of me by the faculty
and staff in our office. I love my job.
Tell us about your family.
I have been married for 18 years. We have two sons, ages 14 and 13.
We love the outdoors. My husband owns a garden center, Flowers' Flowers.
He also owns a deer processing company. We have two dogs, Pete and Dude.
Describe your proudest personal moment.
When my two sons where baptized on Father's Day by their dad. That was
a beautiful moment.
What magazines do you subscribe to?
Martha Stewart, Woman's Day.
Name a guilty pleasure.
Holiday M&Ms. When the bag is full of colors with no brown ones,
that's the best.
Who is your guru, the person who makes you see in a way you have
not been able to see before?
My husband and our two sons.
Which album or recording artist do you listen to
create the following moods or to help you with the following things:
Cleaning house? ZZ Top

Blue jeans.

I say "yes" a lot, and I'm organized.

Where is your favorite place on Vanderbilt's campus?
The walk from Sarratt to the Baker Building with the beautiful trees,
wonderful grass and all those cute squirrels.
