Key Data: "Vanderbilt's Engagement" is an online resource consisting of Vanderbilt's community engagement projects, programs and activities. This new Web site is designed to serve the students, faculty and staff, and the citizens of Tennessee. The directory can be used to make connections between students, faculty, staff, and the community-at-large for activities such as public service seminars and joint interdisciplinary grants and projects. "Vanderbilt's Engagement" is easily searchable by program title, subject area, sponsoring department, geographic area served, or search term specified by the user. It also allows the opportunity for each community engagement activity to link its online information directly to the search mechanisms, which gives the option of providing the users access to an unlimited amount of information regarding the program. Student organizations, faculty and staff are encouraged to visit "Vanderbilt's Engagement" and submit their community engagement activities.
