Vanderbilt University Register: Faculty-Staff Campaign Spotlight

Through the conclusion of the 2002 Faculty-Staff Campaign, the Register will feature examples of programs to which faculty and staff may choose to contribute.

The Division of Student Life recently created the Student Service-Project Fund to assist student groups in making service projects realities. There are approximately 24 student organizations associated with the Office of Volunteer Activities, and during the 2002-03 academic year 16 Mayfield living/learning units will focus on various service-learning interests. Contributions from the Faculty-Staff Campaign will help student groups develop worthwhile innovative service projects that unfortunately run the risk of failing if funding is incomplete.
