Free anxiety screenings will be held in three locations on campus in recognition of National Anxiety Screening Day March 25. Screenings and free educational materials will be available 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Student Health, the atrium of the Social-Religious building on Peabody Campus and in Room 203 of Sarratt.
Odetta, a folk singer whose work influenced Joan Baez, Janis Joplin, the Indigo Girls and Bob Dylan, will perform March 25 as part of the First Amendment in Concert series. She will also join John Seigenthaler and Executive Director Ken Paulson in conversation about the First Amendment and music. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 3 p.m. at the First Amendment Center, located at 1207 18th Ave. South. The McGill Project will sponsor the Apollo Rising Art Festival March 28. The festival will feature artwork and performances by Nashville-area students in Wilson Hall from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Athenian Sing will be held March 27 in Langford Auditorium, beginning at 8 p.m. Student groups will participate in the evening of music and dancing to the theme “Dancin’ through the Decades.” Tickets are available on the Wall or at Sarratt for $12.
