Saturday, March 16 -- Vanderbilt World Cup Soccer Tournament 11 a.m.4 p.m., Natchez Trace Intramural Fields: Grab a group of friends and enter the tournament featuring the most popular sport in the world. Cash prizes to the winner. Deadline for entry is March 14.
Monday, March 18 -- European Awareness Day 8-10 p.m., Branscomb South: International Dessert Night promises to be the most delectable night of International Awareness Week, offering sweets and treats from an array of regions.
Tuesday, March 19 -- Asian Awareness Day Noon-1 p.m., Rand Terrace/Sarratt Promenade: Asian bazaar offers experiences from cultures of South and East Asia with an assortment music, clothes, dancing and the art forms of origami and mehndi.
Wednesday, March 20 -- Middle Eastern Awareness Day 710 p.m., Alumni Lawn: Middle Eastern Night offers sights and sounds of the Middle East as Alumni Lawn is transformed. Performances, games and free food accent this exciting event.
Thursday, March 21 -- Latin American Awareness Day 9 p.m.midnight, Alumni Lawn: This Salsa/Merengue Party offers guests the opportunity to test dance skills while enjoying great music, mock-tails and food.
Friday, March 22 -- Main Event: International Food and Culture Fair 11 a.m.1 p.m., Alumni Lawn: The culmination of the weeklong festival brings cuisine from all over the world to the Vanderbilt campus. Enjoy numerous dances, songs and other performances highlighting different regions of the world. What better way to spend your lunch break, and it's free to the Vanderbilt community.
