Through
the conclusion of the 2002 Faculty-Staff Campaign, the Register will
feature examples of programs to which faculty and staff may choose to
contribute.
The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt
For the first time in its 30-year history, the Vanderbilt Children's
Hospital will be able to offer all inpatient and outpatient services
in one location. The new facility, scheduled for completion in fall
2003, will have many features to maximize the concept of family centered
care. A campaign to raise funds to support the hospital and outpatient
clinic is under way, and the Kresge Foundation has awarded a grant of
$1 million as a challenge for donors to contribute by Oct. 1, 2003.
Gifts made through the Faculty-Staff Campaign will help meet that challenge.
The 2002 Faculty-Staff Campaign runs through June 30. For a pledge
card or more information, contact the Campaign Office at 343-8759.
