American Psychological Association executive Richard McCarty named dean of Vanderbilt’s College of Arts and Science

Richard McCarty, the American Psychological Association’s executive director for science, has been named dean of Vanderbilt University’s College of Arts and Science, according to Provost Thomas G. Burish. The appointment is effective July 1, 2001.
