Four Options to Apply for Employment at Vanderbilt

If you prefer reviewing open positions on our web site and have an electronic copy of your resume, you may either:

  1. access our job list from home at: http://www.vanderbilt.jobs where instructions will be provided on-line "or"

  2. use a kiosk in either of our recruitment offices, where you will be able to view all open positions, select up to five positions at one time by adding positions to your "Job Cart," complete an on-line application and paste your resume into the appropriate space

If you prefer dropping off your resume, you may either:

  1. use the kiosk to complete an on-line application, select the positions of interest and place in your "Job Cart" and provide a copy of your resume to be scanned into your application "or"

  2. complete a paper application, attach your resume and our Customer Service Representative will create an on-line application for you. Your resume will be scanned into our system. If you choose this option, you will need to review the job list to select the position(s) where you are qualified and interested

If you do not have a resume, you may either:

  1. use the kiosk and our "resume builder program" to create a resume. Then you can access the job list and select positions of interest and place in your "Job Cart." You would then complete an on-line application and cut and paste your new resume into the appropriate space "or"

  2. complete a paper application and have a Customer Service Representative work with you to create a resume. The representative will ask you questions about your work history and experience, your skills, etc. and will use that information to create an on-line application and resume for you. If you choose this option, you will need to review the job list to select the position(s) where you are qualified and interested

The purpose of our new application process is to offer more flexibility to applicants, allowing you to select the option that fits your needs. Our job listing on the web is updated automatically, as soon as positions are opened and the recruitment process has begun. Regardless of the application process you select, to be considered an applicant, you need to select at least one open, posted position from our on-line or printed job listing. Customer Service Representatives are available at both recruitment offices: HRS Express, 2525 West End Suite 218 or Village at Vanderbilt, 1500 21st Avenue South, Suite 1516 to offer assistance.
