Undergraduate Organizations

The Department sponsors a chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the honorary society for economics. New members join in fall and spring. Contact Professor Getz for more information. Students with 3.0 grade point averages overall and in economics may be elected to membership after completing 12 credit hours in economics.

The faculty welcome comment on courses, requirements, and all dimensions of the instructional program. Students may discuss problems with their advisors. Junior majors elect one of their number to serve on the Committee on Undergraduate Studies for two years. Chip Robie serves as a senior this year. Written comments may also be addressed to the Director of Undergraduate Studies, the Department Vice Chair, or the Dean of the College. The Department especially welcomes comments from seniors and graduates who have completed the program.
