FOR SPONSORS

From the time a student applies, the Graduate Program in Economic Development program office welcomes the opportunity to work with students and their sponsoring agencies located in the U.S. or abroad. Our staff is available Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30 p.m. to assist in any way possible. In addition, members of the GPED staff are available evenings and weekends to greet students at the airport when they arrive and may be reached by telephone at any time in case of emergency.

 

Services Offered to Our Students
  • Airport pick-up upon arrival
  • Assistance in locating suitable housing and furniture
  • Assistance in completing required reports for sponsors
  • Personal tutors when needed
  • Editing services for Master's thesis
  • Use of computer and Internet in student lounge

Visits to Campus

The Graduate Program in Economic Development welcomes sponsors to Vanderbilt each year. By visiting the campus, sponsors can learn about our program, meet faculty and staff, and tour the campus and its facilities. And, of course, we would love to show you Nashville while you are here!
