Solo CD by Lawrence Borden featuring new and unrecorded works for trombone. Current choices for recorded works:
Establishment of a "tones" database of trombone notes with different attack and release envelopes for use in sound manipulations.
"Just Hearing" - A collaboration with fellow author Robin Fountain. This series of CD's is designed to help players and conductors refine their ability to parse the problems inherent in tuning of chords.
"Tones" - A simple CD of complex single tones for ear training (as opposed to eye training). Examples of use might be the playing of scales and chords against a tonic to allow adjustment of individual members in a JI (Just Intonation) relationship.
