Dasein von Schusnig
I was born October 7, 1992 in Las Casas, Tennessee. I am a certified AKC pure Basset
hound and trilingual; try me. I can answer "woof, woof"; "oua, oua"; or "jua, jua." I am
extroverted and love people, and don't waste my time with unfriendly folk. I'll eat just
about anything except dog food, and love sweets. I once ate nearly an entire box of
chocolates and had to be rushed the emergency room to have my stomach pumped. My
name is a Heideggerean term, meaning "to be." And indeed, I am.

My mother was a sweet basset by the name of Miss Maggie. I never knew my father,
supposedly a champion basset stud by the rather pretentious name of Buddy of Lee.

Since I would never suspect my mother of misbehaving, I am convinced that my hidden
status is due to a distant negative gene. Incidentally, my master tells everyone that I am an
Austrian Basseagle, a rare breed. It puzzles some of the canine experts.
