    English translation of the 9th-10th German ed. by Robert Funk and commonly called BDF. One of the best reference grammars; has English, Greek, and Scripture indices.

    This book has the clarity of the presentation and the compactness with the traditional deductive approach. Notable strengths are: emphasis throughout upon the significance of the Greek verbal system, incremental intruduction of various verb tenses, treatment of mood, discussion of negation, and extensive paradigms.

    This study is meant as a comprehensive introduction to verbal aspect in NT Greek. The first half defines verbal aspect, distinguishes it from Aktionsart, and defines the two primary aspects of Greek(aorist and present). The second half discusses the aspects in the indicative mood, commands and non-indicative moods.
