Expect to find articles in any West European Language.
The supplements, up to vol. 48 (Elenchus Bibliographicus Biblicus),
index articles from other periodicals and are shelved in this location.

Annual journal published by the Chicago Society of Biblical
Research. Articles and papers come from very well respected scholars concerned
with interpretive and hermeneutical issues related to biblical texts.

Indexes articles in major journals but not as comprehensive
as the others. A separate volume indexes the authors.

The stated official languages are English, German, French,
and Italian and each article is abstracted in each of these languages,
but articles in English predominate. NT students might do well to consult
this journal for occasional NT topics.

Collection of significant papers presented at annual
SBL meetings.

Zeitschrift für die neutestamentliche Wissenschaft

Most articles are in German; occasionally some in English
and French. These probably represent the best of German scholarship in
New Testament.
