Nettle leaf is yet another ingredient present in Metabolife. Its safety has yet to be studied. However, Teucher, Oobertreis, Ruttkowski, and Schmitz performed a study to determine the role of nettle leaf in the body. According to the abstract (which was used because the study is in German...or the like of German), nettle serves to inhibit lipopolysaccharide (presumably a form of fat) (1996). However, the abstract itself was nearly as confusing as the German document. Thus, no conclusion can be drawn as to the role or the safety of the nettle leaf in the Metabolife.
