The
internet is chalk full of information on aromatherapy and its use in stress
reduction.
But, almost all of
the information out there is displayed by companies advertising their
product(s).
Although there is an enormous amount of information on which oils are
beneficial in stress
reduction, no two sources can agree on which ones are the best, or
even which ones are
beneficial at all. This is compilation of essential oils that have been
said to reduce stress
or aid in relaxation. Clary Sage, Lemon, Lavender, Benzoin,
Bergamot, Chamomile,
Cedarwood, Frankincense, Sandal wood, Vetivert, Rose,
Comfrey, Calendule,
Linden, Neroili, and Marjoram

) etc. The only four that appeared on more
than three home page
were: Chamomile, Clary Sage, Lemon, and Lavender. Therefore,
this research paper
will concentrate on those four essential oils and the claims that have
been made about them.
