Info for Recommendation Letters
The Vanderbilt University
Summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program is a 10-week internship
for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. (Graduating seniors: Please
contact us at the email address below to inquire about eligibility.) Students
must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to receive stipend support.
To begin an application, click the "Apply Online Here" link
above. You will need to create a username/password, which will allow you
to start your application, save it, and complete it at a later time. Be sure to select "Physics-REU" from the program pull-down menu, and then select the specific field(s) of research you are interested in. You
will fill out some basic contact, deomgraphic, and academic information
and you will upload a personal statement. You will also need to have transcripts (unofficial transcripts are ok) and two letters of recommendation sent. The instructions
for what letters of recommendation should include, and the address to
which they should be sent, can be found by clicking on the "Info
for Recommendation Letters" link above.
