Students interested in pursuing PhD-level study in astronomy and astrophysics may participate in the Fisk-Vanderbilt Masters-PhD Bridge program. This program is for students who require 1-2 years of additional physics preparation before beginning work on the PhD. Students admitted to this program first complete the M.S. degree at Fisk and, upon satisfactory completion, may be admitted directly into the Vanderbilt PhD program. Supervised research may be conducted with mentors at Fisk and Vanderbilt.
