1) Set up the tripod and install the wedge (if applicable)

 2) Orient the tripod toward the Pole Star (careful eyeballing) and level.

 3) Install the telescope on the wedge.  Always handle the telescope by the fork, not by the tube!

 4) Follow the procedure to align the telescope on the North Celestial Pole

 5) Turn the declination slow motion to set the tangent arm in the middle of its range.

 6) Install the visual back, the star diagonal and the 25mm eyepiece (low magnification).
      Make sure the set screws are tight enough to hold each part, but DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!

 7) Turn on the telescope drive

 8) Focus the telescope

 9) Align the finderscope

10) Congratulations! You are now ready to observe!
