General

The LRC delivers and sets up equipment without charge for any Arts and Science class. We require 24 hours advance notice but events may be scheduled up to one semester in advance. The LRC delivers to any classroom in Benson, Buttrick, Calhoun, Furman, Garland, MRB III, Neely, Stevenson Center and Wilson. We have a wide variety of equipment available for classroom use including computers, tv/vcr/dvd combination units, video projectors, screens, mini-dv cameras, dvd cameras, overhead transparency projectors, audio cassette recorders, boomboxes, digital recorders and slide projectors.

Equipment installed in classrooms

Almost all Arts and Science classrooms are equipped with video projectors, computers, vcrs and dvd players. All systems operate in much the same way. For a printable version of the classroom protocol please go to DOWNLOADS and select “Classroom Protocol.” The staff of the LRC will also be happy to meet you in your classroom to instruct you on the use of the equipment. If you have a problem during class you may call the LRC (322-4855) and we will send a technician as quickly as possible.
