Vanderbilt Language Center

The Vanderbilt Language Center is an important second language acquisition partner of the German program.  In a newly redesigned laboratory, students now have access to computers, the Internet, videos and international television programs.   German classes are regularly taught in the Center's multi-media classroom, allowing teachers the opportunity to incorporate video, computer and Internet components into their lessons. Specially designed Internet exercises for beginning and intermediate German courses have also been created in a joint venture between the German program and the Language Center.  

The Language Center has also designed a German resources web page to help students and instructors find interesting and beneficial web sites relating the German news and culture.
