 Founded in 1873, Vanderbilt is renowned for its medical school and scientific research programs. The Department of Chemistry at Vanderbilt University occupies a new research and teaching facility. The department is currently undergoing a period of unprecedented growth with several new faculty members joining the department and additional searches currently in progress.
