The Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosts programs year-round for prospective students in select cities around the country.

Joint Travel Programs

Each year, Vanderbilt joins with other selective colleges and universities to visit select cities around the country. Admissions officers present an overview of selective college admissions as well as specific information about their particular institution. Presentations typically include a look at admissions and financial aid policies, campus life, and academic offerings. Students can ask questions and visit individually with each university's representative after the formal presentation. In 2009, Vanderbilt will be traveling with the following universities to host joint travel programs for prospective students and their families:

• Tufts and Vassar
• University of Chicago, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Princeton
• Wake Forest and the University of Richmond (Spring 2010)

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Relations host receptions across the country for admitted students in their local areas. A list of the cities and information on registration is available here.

Vanderbilt Road Show

Vanderbilt University may be coming to a city near you! The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is hosting the 2009 Road Shows in cities across the country August 16th through August 27th. Each ninety-minute event gives interested students and parents the chance to speak with admissions counselors, meet Vanderbilt parents or alumni who live in the area, and learn more about our academic programs, campus life, the admissions process, and financial aid opportunities at Vanderbilt University.
