Deadlines for Applying for Need–based Aid

CSS PROFILE–Begin submitting after October 15.
Students applying EDI who are interested in need–based aid are required to submit the PROFILE by November 1 for consideration. Students applying EDII should submit the PROFILE by January 1.

FAFSA–Begin submitting after January 1
Students are recommended to submit their completed forms for need–based aid by February 1. Financial aid applications received after February 1 are still considered for aid, but you may not receive an award at the same time your admission decision is received.

Deadlines for Applying for Merit–based Aid

The following merit scholarships have separate applications and must be postmarked by January 3 unless otherwise noted:
Ingram Scholarship Program (Postmark deadline of December 1)
Lanier Scholarship Program
Chancellor’s Scholarship Program
Fred–Russell Grantland Rice Scholarship

Notification of Financial Aid Decisions

Early Decision I
applicants who submit the PROFILE by November 1 will receive their notification in their decision letter (approximately December 15). Students who submit their PROFILE after the November 1 deadline will receive their need–based award notification separately.

Early Decision II applicants who submit their PROFILE by January 1 will receive their award letter in the admission packets. Students applying Early Decision II should expect to receive their decision letter approximately February 15.

Regular Decision applicants who submit their need–based aid application forms by February 1 will receive their award letter in their admission packet. Students applying Regular Decision will receive their decision letter by April 1.

Students who submit need–based financial aid forms after the deadlines are still eligible for aid, but they will receive their award information separate from their decision letter.
