Blair School of Music

All students who have indicated the Blair School of Music as a first or alternate choice school must audition or interview. Students applying to the Blair School of Music are required to submit the Music Profile as part of their application.  Auditions are offered on campus and at selected locations off-campus.  Auditions by videotape are also allowed, though a personal audition is preferred.  On campus audition dates for the 2009-2010 year are:

February 12-13, 2010

February 26-27, 2010

*Please note that students applying Early Decision I must audition on the December 5, 2009 date.

This list represents our most current information. Please be aware that it differs from and supersedes what is printed on the Part 1: Vanderbilt Common Application Supplement. Off-campus audition dates and specific locations will be updated as the time approaches, so please check back often. When completing the Music Profile, students interested in off-campus auditions should list their preferred city in the space marked "Other Date".

Please complete the Music Profile and return it directly to the Blair School of Music. Students who are applying either first or alternate choice Blair are required to submit the Music Profile as part of the application for admission.
