A subscription includes the following three (3) quarterly journals: American Economic Review including the Paper and Proceedings (5 issues-March, May, June, Sept., Dec.), the *Journal of Economic Literature (4 issues-March, June, Sept., Dec.) and the Journal of Economic Perspectives (4 issues-Winter/Feb., Spring/May, Summer/Aug., Fall/Nov.). A subscription for only one journal is not available. Please note: The electronic Directory may be searched on a number of fields online.

*Beginning with the March 2000 issues, the print version of the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) no longer contains bibliographic information. The Contents of Current Periodicals and the Subject Index of Articles will be contained only on the JEL CD-ROM and on EconLit available by subscription (see information contained in the frontmatter of a current issue).

If purchased through an Agent, a current print or CD subscription is required to add an electronic site license to the AER, JEL and JEP. The subscription must be maintained to continue site license access from 2002 forward. Site licenses and print subscriptions will run concurrently—if you add a site license, it must be renewed when your current print subscription expires.

After your payment is processed, the print or CD subscription will begin with the next published journal. We cannot back-start a subscription. All print copies are sent via U.S. Postal Service, Publishers' Periodicals rate class, the last of the publication month. Allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery; allow 12 weeks for the December issues. Air Mail service is not available. CDs are shipped "first class."

To prevent delays in processing your order, include the INVOICE below, a SUBSCRIPTION (renewal) INVOICE, or a mailing label with your payment. An email address is required for online site licenses. Canadian and foreign payments must be in the form of a check drawn on a United States (US) bank payable in US dollars. The check must contain proper coding to allow processing through the normal US banking system. Other types of payment will be returned. Refunds will not be made on cancelled subscriptions.

Claims for missing issues should be made within six months of publication date and must include title, volume and issue number of missing books. With proper documentation, issues may be replaced one time if claim is made within six months of issue date. A change of address must reach this office at least 8 weeks prior to month of publication to allow time for processing. Note: There is no back stock of CDs since they contain cumulative issues (JEL Dec. 1994-present; AER and JEP 1999-present).

Back issues usually are available for the current year and earlier years.
