Online Directory of Members

An Online Directory of Members is currently available. The online Directory reflects updates made throughout the calendar year. The Directory lists both active members and those whose membership is past the expiration date up to a full calendar year. Names of members with memberships expired for a period greater than 12 months are purged from the database.

First, try using a last name only to search for a member. After locating the desired member, click on the Directory Information link in the left column of labels. Search hints.

Disclaimer: Postal and e-mail addresses and telephone numbers in the American Economic Association Directory of Members are provided for individual personal communication only. Use of these addresses for commercial or research purposes is prohibited.

For a fee, the American Economic Association will mail a message to members who have indicated their willingness to receive commercial advertising or research surveys.

The directory files have not been edited for content. The files were created to reflect the membership roster at one point in time: December 31, 2007. Both active members and those past their expiration date up to one full calendar year are listed. Names of members with memberships expired for a period greater than 12 months are purged from the database.

The biographical data represents survey information as input by the member online. No attempts have been made to update or correct any entries. Use the Acrobat Find utility to search for member names. This button has an icon resembling binoculars near the top of the web page.
