How do I apply?
Complete and submit an application form. Registration is closed for the 2009 workshops. Applications are no longer being accepted. The 2009 workshops are the final TIP workshops.
Have your department chair (or university administrator) write and e-mail a letter of support for your participation in this workshop with the chair or administrator's title, address, and other contact information given in the e-mail. Have him or her state the likely benefits to you, your students and your department or university. The e-mail letter should be sent to tipecon@unlnotes.unl.edu with the subject line "TIP: First Name Last Name" of workshop applicant.
Send a check for $100.00 made payable to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Mail it to William Walstad, Department of Economics, 339 College of Business Administration, University of Nebraska, Lincoln NE 68588-0402. Applications are not considered complete until the check is received. This check is a participation fee and will be refunded if the application is not accepted. If you withdraw after March 1, 2009, you forfeit the fee.
