ASSA MEETINGS JANUARY 2009
The AEA Committee on Economic Education will sponsor a session of research papers on economic education at any level (undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, or pre-college) at the 2009 Meetings in San Francisco. Papers from this session will NOT appear in the Papers and Proceedings. To have a paper considered, submit an abstract of 250-500 words by April 15, 2008, to Sam Allgood, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, sallgood@unl.edu.
The Committee on Economic Education of the American Economic Association invites papers for a session on Teaching Assistants in economics at the January 2009 AEA meetings in San Francisco. This session welcomes original research on topics such as: training TAs in economics; assessing the contribution of TAs to economics instruction; and evaluating the consequences of TA experience on subsequent academic accomplishments. Papers will be published in the Journal of Economic Education, subject to editorial review and approval.
